| Nice Letter | | There's a letter in the Herald Leader today from an irate landowner about poor behavior from the bicycle crowd at the RRG race. I think ya'll should park somewhere else next year. | | 8/14/2009 4:44:58 AM |

| Entering Town | The way back into town during the Time Trial was not good. The traffic there was terrible, having to go around the traffic really slowed people down. Then some were lucky to probably not have any cars there at all. You should constanly clear that road everytime a car comes. | | 7/7/2008 8:55:43 AM |

| Red River Gorge American Classic | "The Fig" - a 12-hour adventure race through and around the Red River Gorge - is returning for its 6th annual running on Saturday, November 1, 2008!! If you thought riding the roads through the Gorge was a scenic experience, just wait until you go off-road! This adventure race challenges soloists and teams of 2/3/4 to mountain bike, paddle, trek, rappel, and navigate their way to various remote checkpoints in a test of grit and endurance.
Register early for a discounted rate and a long-sleeved wicking race shirt. Economical lodging and boat rentals also available. See attached flyer and entry form, or visit www.truenorthoutfitters.com for more information. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions:

| Community support | We would like to invite you to share your experiences with the local community. Without their support an event such as TOUR of the Red River Gorge would not be possible. The firefighters, police, emergency services, citizens and hundreds of volunteers contributed thousands of hours to this event. The citizens of the five counties, Powell, Menifee, Wolfe, Lee and Estill decorated their counties and gladly shared their roads with you.
If you had a unique or special exchange or experience with someone, share it so everyone will know.
Our personal thanks go out to them and to you, the participants. All of you contributed to the success of an event that will be even bigger and better in 2009.

| Thanks from the organizers | Thanks to all of you who came to TOUR of the Red River Gorge. We want this to become the one 'must do' event one on everyone's race schedule but we need your help.
Please give us your feedback, both negative and positive, so we can make adjustments to TOUR of the Red River Gorge.

| Announcement and PA | | I think a a unified PA system (both at the start-finish and the registration areas) would have helped communicate delays, and changes better. A lot of people were asking when things started, where to be, etc. and ended up walking in and asking the registration desk (taking their time away from registration and results). | | 6/16/2008 4:17:47 AM |
